Salmon run has definately started. Heard that the main run came in late last week after all the rain. Went sunday morning to the credit river(erindale park) and there was a fair number of fish in there. To bad there was record numbers of people out too. The fallen rocks hole had about 13 guys fishin...

Not sure Jebby, never been there. I would say a 16 ft boat with a 50hp motor would be a better bet though. I was out last sunday on Lake Ontario. Went out from Burlington drop bridge and seen some waves coming in to the lauch but nothing to bad. By the time i realized how bad the weather was i was t...

Thats the way she goes sometimes. Better to pack up and go home than to risk a life. Went out last Sunday and the water was dirty too and i didnt have much luck. Big swells out there that were kinda scary. Capsized a canoe once and thats good enough for me for a lifetime. Salmon is a class act guy. ...

Thanks for your help
The 75 hp motor would help out my trolling problem so i would only use one motor instead of buying a kicker.
I might try my friends plate in front of the prop and see if that will slow it down enough.

Mounting bolt patterns

I currently have a 1979 150hp merc on the back of my boat. If i was to mount a newer motor(say a 2003 75hp merc). How would i know if the bolt pattern would match up so i dont have to drill any more holes to weaken my transom? Or does anyone know what motor would fit my bolt pattern? Hoping these th...
