That bass looks to me to be around 6lbs maybe a bit more. It looks real fat. I just look at your hand when you hold it. Unless you have tiny hands that bass is huge. The bass that 24/7 is holding seems smaller. EDIT: Just look at the size of the mouth vs the body I will revise my guesstimation to 7lbs

Thanks, Matt for catching my first respectable size Musky ! Beautiful day/evening on the water. It was a beautiful 40", was nice to feel the power of the Musky. I missed another one that was just a bit smaller It swam towards the boat quickly and made a tiny bit of slack then shook the bait off...

fish are cold blooded,they don't feel pain ,like we would ,when stuck with a hook. I don't know about that. There have been studies that prove fish do feel pain. Or at least they respond to it. I think it depends, I am a bit surprised by results you guys have. I never caught a pike or the same bass twice. Not that I could tell anyways. With that said I have often missed a fish with a top water only to have it hit my lure 2 seconds after. Same goes for when my wife missed a fish. I cast rig...
