strange sitings at local boat launch

So my buddy and i are heading out fishing yesterday....we get to the launch and prepare the boat.....I back it up tight to the water, hop out and get in the boat and he hops into the vehicle to launch the boat. Just then 2 young ladies emerge from a car parked about 10 yards away. They're wearing high heels, short skirts, skin tight tops etc. They walk up to my vehicle and start talking to my buddy.....I am quite a bit away, near 40 feet and can't hear what is being said.....he continues to back up, the boat floats off the trailer, I start her up and back out....they are still there chatting. He pulls the trailer out and goes to park and they approach 2 other guys about to launch at the other launch. I'm wondering what is going here. I pull up to the dock to get my buddy and ask him what that was all about and he says that they want us to take them fishing. Yeah right. Off we go. These girls looked were more approiately dressed for a midnight stroll on Montreal Road that a fishing trip.

Anyone else have this happen ? we got quite a kick out of it.

As for the fishing, we were froggin and missed a ton of fish on blowups. I managed one LM and sacrificed 2 spro frogs to the pike gods.

Had it happen a month ago at Shirley's Bay launch, 4 ladies, wanted to go for a ride to the island.
I still can't believe we went fishing without them ;)

 Let me get this straight... you didn't take them out because they were dressed inappropriately? :?
Just what is "proper" fishing attire anyway??

You just may be on to something here -- you will probably get more hits from guys asking for the name of the launch than the guys get for the location of lake X where they caught the huge trout!! If you are the guy in Rockland that charges $25 a pop for a launch, you could have yourself a goldmine with this post! :)

I'd ask them demonstrate the proper method of tying a polymar knot and texas rigging a senko b4 considering to take them out.

You know.... Women and Sea Men don't mix.

But hootchie mommas and I do.

I am just a little afraid of what the ones from the MacBay area would look like... perhaps a cross between Joco and BA....

What bait were you using? I am not getting any bites from them at all.
Or is the type of "ROD" you were using.
