I picked up my very first baitcasting combo a Shimano Callisto, some hooks, 20lb fireline, a chatterbait, a swayback spook and a pack of 4" tiki-tubes

The Callisto is a great little reel to learn on. Very forgiving. I'd suggest buying a spool of cheap 17lb test mono to throw on it first so you can go fire it around without birdsnesting your Fireline.

i was pretty close to a birdsnest when i was casting a tube into the pool i accidently turned off my easy mag once and i had to get the little birdsnest out not fun at all
