Carp Fishing

Post by Gravelguy4 »

Hi Guys,

I haven't posted on here in a while so i thought i'd share a personal first for me.
This is my first carp on a fly.

Image

Caught it on a #10 prince nymph, 6lb tippet and a 6wt rod. Took nearly 20 minutes to land in the current.

managed one more that day a bit bigger but the pic is terrible.

That one was 29"

I think i love the carp.

Good job! must have been some awesome fights on that fly rod. I caught a 12lb'er the other day and my arm was so sore after the fight, that fish took so many runs lol. Carpin is great.
