Mississippi lake gas pumps?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Mississippi lake gas pumps?

Post by Troller »

Hello all,
I am going to Mississippi lake next week. This year we have rented a cottage on the other side about 3 km from Carleton Place. Just wondering if anyone sells gas on the water in that area of the lake? We are not familiar with that area. I use to fill up at McColloughs Landing as we use to stay in that area. But I would like to find a place closer to where we are staying this year.

Thanks,
Dave

I think the campground/trailer park in the Northeast bay
(can't think of the park name, the Bay's name might be
Duff's, not sure about that either :? ) might have a pump.
Someone on here might have clearer info for ya.

Yes, Baitcasters has gas too, but it's at the far west
end along with McCullough's, I think you're looking
for something closer to the east end, no?? :)
If you don't stand for something,
you'll fall for anything!!

Dave
ORWL is having an outing on Wednesday, August 11th out of Baitcasters.
Most guys start sometime after 2:00 pm and then we have to be back at baitcasters by 8:18 pm for a barbeque
Stop by and see us all on the water or at the barbeque.
Hope to see you there.

Okay Thanks guys.
I am looking forward to getting to know that end of the lake and I will probably go to my old part of the lake too. The ORWL sounds interesting indeed Dave. I was at the last one there too.

Cheers,
Dave
