Perch or Crappie on Gannanoque Waterway

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

if your boat is small enough to go from red horse to singleton i have highlighted in red an area I have had huuuuuuuuge success with perch. Shallow, 2 rods at a time two hooks each, all day long. The green is a weed line that if you toll with some smaller cranks you can get slabs. Caught a 1.1 pound there last summer on a coppers live target bluegill.

Plenty of crappie in Gananoque Lake less so in Charleston and Redhorse. Good crappie fishing below Marble Rock dam. Best perch fishing and crappie is South lake but some big ones in all lakes.
