Well, it has been so long now I don't really remember how big it was... I'd say it looks a lot more like the fish that placide caught than the one you're hoisting though!Mr.J. wrote:

If placide held his 'centered' I think it would extend beyond his body similar to how mine is... I don't think I'm that much bigger than placide... and was actually trying to avoid having someone say "Your fish is smaller than you say it is!". I'd rather someone call me out and say that fish looks bigger than I say it is!
So, my apologies Mr. J., if you're feeling I told you a fish-tale... I don't remember what I told you... I don't remember what it actually was... but looking at the picture... I'd say it's about that (estimating conservatively). I know that 2 of my 3 biggest fish were caught that day (one pike and that musky). I don't remember the order, but 32, 33/34 and 36 inches all ring bells. My other big pike was caught back in like 1992 though!! Hmmm... 38" is now ringing a bell... I'm giong to see if I can dig up the emails from Ed!
toobinator... if you're reading... do you remember how big that musky was? Heck, if I can't... I don't expect you to!

Well, my response wasn't because I was/am upset or anything... just wanted to clarify.
Kudos to placide for catching his PB in his PJ's!
That shows real dedication to getting onto the water as soon as possible... and I suppose it's possibly an accurate reflection of what his dreams are like!
