After having a pretty crappy season of not having any boats at the cottage, we made it a point to get a few tinnies up there this weekend...Strapped to the trailer the boats were going nowhere but the lake... ;D

Not the best of all boats but they will do...Besides the work that had be done were able to get out and do a lot fishing...Many species were caught this weekend...Pike, numerous bass and plenty of walleye(pickerel ;) ) were boated. Too keep it short(As I am very tired) here are a just a few pictures from the great weekend for your amusement. Most fish were caught in the black river...

Please Enjoy!

All those rods didn't capsize your boat!?!?

Those are some very nice catches! What a great location you've got there.

Nice report, that Bass is fat and healthy.

I'm looking to stock up on a Tinny or two for backwater lakes, mind if I ask where you found those Tinnys?

WoW! What a nice gesture. I need more friends like you guys!

I'm looking for a Tinny or two right now, I'm heading up to Nakina in Mid August. Apparently my buddy found a few lakes churning with walleye (they limited out in 12 mins!), but my good old Tinny blew away on Georgian Bay in a November storm last year.

I'm willing to pay of course, I have a buddy who welds aluminum (same guy) and he's the leak wizard.

Unfortunately, I'm in the GTA, long away from most fish hawkers. Finding a used Tin boat in Toronto is proving difficult....

Tip-Up: Sorry, I don't mean to hijack your thread

Between the skilled brothers-dynamic-duo, the tinnies and the 400 lbs. of gear, the fish didn't stand a chance!

Fun times, guys -- great pictures. Thanks for posting them.

Hope you're back out there again very soon.
