Well I had been looking forward to this weekend for a long time.

Headed up to Burlington with a buddy Friday. Showed up at the lift bridge around 5:30pm and waves were way too big for my liking Drove through Lakeshore drive (holy crap!) to visit Bronte. Saw a guy out there jumping waves at 45 degree angle on the boat... not going out.

Went for a few beers and got ready for 5:00am launch at Burlington. Boats were lined up but no one was going out. Met Pressman, Salmon and Jonathan at the launch. Salmon went back home and I followed Pressman to Toronto Islands.

no luck... fished shallow... fished deep... one taker on Glow Frog flasher and cut bait. left around 1:00... looked at the news that night and a boater capsized out there!

Sunday morning run up to Burlington again, winds were calm but the water was clowdy. fished a few hours and not seeing anyone getting into anything I headed home around 9:00.

What a dissappointing weekend!

It was nice to meet Salmon and Johanathan for the first time.

Thats the way she goes sometimes. Better to pack up and go home than to risk a life. Went out last Sunday and the water was dirty too and i didnt have much luck. Big swells out there that were kinda scary.
Capsized a canoe once and thats good enough for me for a lifetime.
Salmon is a class act guy. Maybe i will see you guys out there this weekend if it doesnt rain thru the whole thing lol
