I have had a lot of luck this year with yellow jig heads and tails, but white also gave me some nice walleye.

I always like to use white Bucktails with a white power grub.

This year I had the most success with the metallic Purple, Blue, Red and Chartreuse Nuckle Ball jigs rigged weed-less. Seems like the flash really helps the walleye target in on the presentation.
Best trailers shown here was the Fin-S minnow (shad), 4" Flapp'n Shad (Pumpkin Chartreuse) and 3' Realistix (Firetiger).

I like to flip, cast, swim and rip jigs along weed lines and bounce or drag them along structure at a pretty quick pace to cover water. I use them similar to a crank-bait and if I have to slowdown for live bait or go vertical I usually will go to a live bait rig, lindy rig or toss a minnow/leech out under a slip float.
