Fish-Hawk.Net

Well another summer month has passed by....Birdee and I took full advantage of it and managed 16 outings over the month...

We targetted multi-species as always and did some travelling as well....hooking up with old friends along the way made our trips all the better...

We started with 4 days in SW Ontario on the Great Lakes.....Had some hot summer salmon action aboard the Striper...





Birdee landed a new PB for our household with this salmon that was pushin near 30 pounds...



We slid down to Erie for a day to fill our coller with walleye...


The Bows are always a hoot....Birdee and Markus had a great time with this double...


One thing that has always puzzled me...is why I can't find crappies in the summertime....so I spent a few nights fishin to see what I could find...and low and behold...





We were fortunate enough to come out on top at a "Couples Challenge" that was put together on one of our local lakes...A couple of Old Hawk-Talkers Canadian Bacon and M.T.Livewell were our adversaries...what a great day....

We hit em good that day...and our 3-fish limit was in the 9 and change pounds for the win....we made the other teams dinner back at our place to make em feel better...



We spent a full day on our local lake trying to get Birdee that PB bumped up.....well it's now 4 pounds even...


We then took a few days to go camping/carp fishing....we had a blast...





Had a great day on my new favorite smallie lake....





And ended the month with a fish that's been awhile coming for Birdee....I got high-fived and hugged for this one!



And a nice pike to boot!

Congrats on the Couple's challenge win, But since when are M T livewell and Bacon a couple!!! Never saw that one coming!!!!!! But aren't they related or something !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys lite up another month with some fantastic fisihng! Glad I was able to be a part of it! I really enjoyed the 4 days we spent together pounding bows/eyes/salmon. I can't wait to see's ya's both again at our Quinte get together....although this time we'll be fishing against one another!
