Gidday!

Well me and my wife are heading down to BOQ tomorrow morning. This is going to be the first time either of us have been there, so i have a few questions. first off i am bringing my portable shack and was wondering if i am going to need my snowmobile to get out to the fishing grounds, and is there a public parking lot at Annes Point.

any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would not bring the machine if you are accessing from Point Anne. There is still some thin ice around (3" to 5") due to the flows. Best to go on foot. Try checking some reports on this forum, quintefishing.com. If you would rather try for some safe ice try Big Bay. You may have to access from the County side though? Ice in Big Bay should be much better than around Point Anne. Good luck.
