Bay of Quinte Ice Hut Rentals

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Bay of Quinte Ice Hut Rentals

Post by MisterFisher »

I am wondering if anyone knows of any good places to rent an ice hut or a sleep in ice bungalow on the bay of quinte for this January. I will be travelling from the Petawawa area so I would like something close. I have never fished this body of water before but am looking forward to some monster walleyes. Any information I can get would be much appreciated.

Just be careful there can be some very iffy ice, no one wants to see anyone go down so make sure you ask around about ice conditions.

I have heard this from a number of sources, just curious what makes BOQ dangerous? Is there that much of a current or are there other reasons?
