Lac Nilgault 2018

Surprised my son with a fishing trip to Lac Nilgault for an early birthday gift. It didn’t disappoint eventhough the bite was slow with the ice just being off the lake the previous weekend. Only 1 pike to show as they hadn’t moved into the shallows yet but managed to get 30 lakers over 2 and a half days fishing. Needless to say my son was extatic and couldn’t believe that normally the fishing is better. Hope everyone had a great long weekend.

The hold out pose for the 30th laker of the trip! He didn’t wanna leave! Great weekend. Apparently he’s already going next year again.......

Cool report! One of my favorite lakes for sure. Big numbers and a chance at a tank. That's me on their facebook page with the 12lb laker from last year. I'll be heading back this year looking for a 20lb +......maybe a couple times.
