Beveridge Locks & Tay Pollution

Hi. I am a fish and wildlife technician, wildlife scientist and biologist.
I recently conducted a study where I have found that there is a high amount of organic pollution in the Tay / Beveridge area and I thought I would share it here to get some feedback on it.
Long short, The study took place from January to July 2020 at Beveridge Locks in Port Elmsley, Ontario. For this study I used population and diversity of wildlife present in the area which included, birds, mammals, fish, reptiles, amphibians, mollusks, micro-invertebrates and macro-invertebrates, algae and diatoms.
The second part of this study I used micro-invertebrates and macro-invertebrates as bio-indicators to acquire a water quality assessment. Then I used algae and diatoms as bio-indicators to acquire an organic pollution assessment. Which resulted in the findings that the area of Beveridge Locks has an issue with high organic pollution originating from the wastewater sewage treatment plant located outside of Perth Ontario.

Also on a side note... Does anybody know where the Carp in the Tay River came from and how long they have been in there? I've never seen them in there until now.
