Battery, deep cycle or not

I have to buy a battery for my new boat, its an inboard, do I get a deep cycle or just a regular marine cranking battery ??

If it is the starting battery, you need a starting battery not a deep cycle "for best performance, there are some reported dual duty ones out there, not to sure about them. :roll:
