Mounting a trolling motor

Post by Snakebite »

The troubles and strife was kind enough to give my a bow mount for my last b-day. Problem is my little 16 ft aluminum doesnt have enough of a bowsprit to mount it.

Has anyone ever built a larger section onto the bow of a tinnie to mount a trolling motor? Any advice would be much appreciated.

:D Built a platform for a bowmount as well as a flipping deck. Make a template and go get some aluminum and some marine plywood some ss screws and a drill and an afternoon. 8) or call me or come by look for yourself. I maybe selling the hole set-up and making a newer more improved one. :D
