Power Tilt/Trim

Anyone have any idea of the cost and options to add power tilt/trim for a smaller engine.

I have a side console with 25hp Evinrude, but I would really like the power tilt/trim as I'm the only on the family strong enough to go back there an lift it up. And since the water levels get so low at the dock it seems I'm doing it to often.

My throttle control has the switches for the tilt, just need the mechanism and installation.

Johnson/Evinrude tilt units are available through a couple of companies as aftermarket parts. They do not mount on the motor rather the motor mounts to it and lifts and lowers the whole engine. They are available through CC Marine, Kimpex and a couple other suppliers. Most marinas have access to these companies. They retail for between $795 and &995 depending on who you ask.
Hop this helps

Wow - Thanks a lot JP.

I knew they were costly, considering what the boat is worth, I think I will continue to do it the manual way.

minnkota used to have a power lift. It was not a trim device but a lifter for the motor to raise it out of the water. Don't know if they still make it.
