The new boat came without a radio, so I decided to remedy the situation this weekend. Went with the Jensen MS30, since it was just about the only radio that would fit the space I had, the flush mount (3/4" thick) helped keep my knuckles from changing the station while steering. Clarion marine speakers.

That is such a cool little radio!!! I had no idea you could get a radio in that kind of form-factor.

Nice work and very nice and compact radio. I would of been very nervous drilling in my boat.. ouff

There's a few different models and brands like that, added an auxiliary jack and USB port for bringing my satellite radio or sons Iphone for music in remote locations up north.

I was also but, was lucky enough to know someone with a 6" and 3" hole saw, made life so much less stressful, and things a lot neater.

Oh yeah for sure, I wouldn't of done that without a hole saw. Could u Imagen doing that with a jig saw.. oh boy..

Lol wasn't looking forward to it but was prepared to take the time to do it if I had to!

For sure, slow and steady, no need to rush through it and make mistakes. Turned out great and looks good
