Lake Temagami help

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Post by mds61 »

Headed to Lake Temagami for the first time this weekend and would appreciate any help on walleye and lake trout spots in the East Arm. Thanks.

I hold in front of me the map for the northeast arm. 2 areas are reccommended for walleye in that section of the lake, also, Shiningwood bay south and around the corner from the Temagami access road launch also notes walleye locations. These maps are laminated and handy to keep in the boat.

Buddy was there about a month ago. Trolling worm harnesses with minnows or worms off bottom was all that was working then.

Yellow jigs I've heard as well are good, and one guys swears by yellow marabou jigs 1/4 or 3/8 oz.
