Yeah, just heard about it, Skooter. Terrible news, but hopefully no one was in it and somehow it just got blown out with the weather...
When I was out on Pike Lake yesterday, came across two boats tied up to seperate docks that were half under the water. I guess with all this rain we had of late, they are just filling up and going under. The one boat had about 8 inches of the head of a nice looking Merc motor sticking out of the water, the rest was all below the surface. Found the safety kit, bailer and other assorted things floating around 100 feet away.
For those that have cottages and haven't checked on their boats since we had those big days of tons of rain, you might want to do it soon. These people are going to have quite the surprise when it comes time to head back to the cottage this coming weekend...
Let's pray for good news with the sunken bluffs boat..
