Hi Everyone,
I will spend the week-end, with an old friend, trying to fish for musky in the Kawartha lakes.
I've never been there, however, we might try to hit Pigeon, Stoney, Buckhorn, and/or Elephant lake.
We will make our choice depending of the winds and we will probably fish two or three lakes.
Any tips on how to fish these lakes or which lake would be a good choice?
Thanx a lot,
Lucky4

Just based on my brother's past experiences and satisfaction with the lake, I can tell you Buckhorn has some good muskie fishing, Lucky4. He is never disappointed when he fishes Buckhorn and has been bugging me for years to join him on a trip there. (Just biding my time 'til the littlest guy is a little older, then I'll be taking a crack at it, too.)
Have a great wknd & don't forget those great LuckyCharms fish pictures.
(What's Little Cleo doing without you this wknd?

Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.
Well, the weather forecast does not look too promising. However, this is probably a good sign. I would be worry if they were calling for perfect fishing conditions...
I will do my best to have a few pics to show on monday!
As for LC, she will be working this week-end... In deed, we do both have a full time job that has to come before our fishing passion.

Rice Lake has some great muskie fishing.
Try trolling in the slightly deeper northern end, casting points with bucktails.
I've seen tons of skies on Sturgeon as well, fishing for bass. If you could find a shallow casting pattern in the weed choked south, you could clean up.
I've only caught bass on Pigeon.
