Fishin boat

Ok I have the oppurtunity to get a sea ray inboard outboard 195 bowrider fiberglass boat I like to fish and have fun can you give a tip on if this boat is a good boat to get.

Fshman,
Runabout's are a compromise and an inboard motor eats up extra interior space. Outboards are out of the way and there is less maintenance involved with them.
Sea Ray makes a very good boat but this boat is more suited to family excursions than fishing....larry

I would defiianly buy that boat I just got a deal on the same boat for $12,000 with only 600 hours on it but it had a water line on it that wont come off as well as sctraches underneath. But larry my boat is perfect for fishing the 195 bowrider I also have a 1999 21.5 express cruiser sea ray with a 220 hp mercruiser motor in it that will troll with no sea anchor plus it sleeps 2 and I can even fish out of it I have a picture that I will try to include in this message of it. But fshnman if you like the boat buy it. I like my boats. I have the 95 bowrider and the 99 express cruiser is for sale on ebay. I also have a 2001 24ft sea ray sundancer that I even fish out of on ocasion. then theres my project and crappy aluminum lund fishing boat that I put my old corvette motor in all thats left is the steering. But as I said before I like my bowrider and plan to keep it as my fishing boat. The reson I got mine is my nieces husband bought one and I didnt think you could fish on it and I had the lund as my fishing boat with a dinky little 75 hp motor on it and we went fishing one day and he flew pass me on the way to the spot while I was at full throttle and I knew in my mind ok buddy nice boat but you cant catch no fish he showed me up him and his wife coaught more than me my 3 sons and wife caught in my boat so my wife talked me into it and we bought his off him and I love this boat its the best quality nice for everything my sons like to get there wakeboards on the back and the wife like the tube. then we go fishing. As far as I know being these sea rays have the best resale value as well. We had 99 in 2000 and then I bought the 01 new then I bought the 95 and think im done buying boats for a while. Just one thing to check on the bowriders though is the tilt/trim mechanism these break very easy Ive already went thought 2. Like said before these are all around good boats for fishinng and haveing fun but mostly fishing. Ive causht hundreds of fish already.
