The water in front of my cottage in the Fort Coulonge area went up about a foot last week but 8 inches of that happened over the weekend. I would not be surprised to see another 4-5 feet of water by the end of April.
2002 was the worst flooding I have seen in my 15 years up there. The river is still 7 feet (2.5m) short of that mark.
well i have enough water at the edge of my front yard to launch a boat in. I have been using a marker to see how fast its rising and it went up about 3 inches from 7pm last night to 6am this morning...my driveway is a causeway now LOL
