On fathers day, my buddy and I met early morning ( 5 am ) at the Chapman Mills conservation area on Rideau River. After a hot Timmy coffee and donuts , we started working the shoreline. . After we spent a couple of hours with nothing to show for it, we decided to move up the Rideau River and try our luck somewhere else.
The second spot was definitely more lively, the fish was more active, when all of a sudden , my buddy's line felt extremely heavy, and fish was on. As soon as I heard that, I ran lightning-fast back to the car to grab the camera. Indeed, when back my buddy broke his musky curse with this 11 lbs:
What a nice gift for fathers day. As for myself, I got skunked

, but seeing the joyous face of buddy made my day.
Thanks for reading, back to work
Cheers
