Oh just a few more days 'till bass season...I'm like a kid on Christmas eve for cryin' out loud...can't believe I only took the sport back up last year after about a 20 yr hiatus to get youth and 'being cool' out of the way...
Anyways, has anyone had any luck with the Tiki-Man wave worms and such? I bought some blue/black crawdads last year and didn't have any success...wondered if anyone has used the other types?
That's good enough for me...I'll give 'em another shot.
Heh, that's why I was asking Bamboozler...the cdn tire next to my office has them on sale again and wanted to check before zipping over on lunch to pick some up.
Always baffles the boys at work when I leave a couple packages on the desk
I go through a lot of the Tiki Sticks and Tiki Bamboo Sticks. One of the largest LMBs I've ever caught was with the blue/white swirl on a wacky rig. They have a nice action when rigged Texas style but since a lot of this action is due to the softness of the bait, don't expect to get more than 2-3 fish before the it needed to be changed.
Well canadian tire sells them for 5.99 or 6.99 regularly. Wallmarts everyday low price is2.97 so what this means is now that wavewrom has to meet the demand they will move there factory to china( if not already there) and we will get a substandard bait.
I used their white stick worm, 6 or 7 inches and caught the biggest Crappie in my life (night time, 10pm). No lie, measured just over 15". Bass also like them and I'll be using them more this season.
I bought a pack of white ones and was given several hooking tips. Nothing..... Then I tried hooking them wacky style. I am not much of a bass guy but they work this way. It seems ridiculous this way but if it works .
