Live Minnows in Aylmer

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Live Minnows in Aylmer

Post by steve2112 »

Hi Everyone

I discovered that at the Aylmer carwash on Front street, they are now selling live minnows. This is really convenient for us over here.

Cheers,
Steve

That lad had bought the set-up from the dudes running the small engine shop on Tiberius St. a few years ago. Tank was always clean and fresh water filtered in from the river every week so it was no surprise the bait is top notch...

Next time you are there Steve can you get his number and post it here as I think your suppose to call him before stopping in. I know he does frequent the marina and Deschenes Bay on the weekends selling live bait as well out of his truck.

I have not had the chance to fish in Aylmer yet this year but Anthony is off all week and we do plan on fishing Deschenes Bay for walleyes on Tues and Wed. Il be getting my minnows in Aylmer as well after seeing this. All my gear is over there so it's only a matter of getting the boot down.

I am also intrested in fishing the both derby's hosted by the lions club and ????club...If you here anything on this please add it here too  :D

We should get an Aylmer gathering going for a night walleye bite or somthing. We did his a few years ago at the marina and although the fish were scarce on that day, everyone still had a great time.

Thanks for the info~

Andrew

Il be out tomorrow night Jason hunting down evening bite walleyes. Won't be fishing the marina though. Your welcome to join me if you would like, I will be fishing somewhere between Deschenes Bay and the Champlain bridge. You park on the lower road and hike in from there. It's not even 10 minutes to the spot. I drove down Front st. a little while ago to check out the minnow situation and it's looking good. You purhase them at the Lave Auto right?
