Stop being so paranoid. There's so much water to fish around Ottawa that its not a problem at all.

Alot of people blame the popularity of Petrie on the web... thats just ridiculous and ignorant to do that.

Of course, lots of people are going to fish there. Its so close to people in Ottawa, has great fishing and even has a bait shop there... why wouldn't people go there? Its been crowded there long before this site and others like it.

Same with the other places that people blame the web for their popilarity like SHiner, Limestone and SCully. None of those place are secrets and its not because of the web that they aren't. Its just common knowledge.

So there, Stavi says so, son.

It causes overcrowding im sure, but does it create harm? Not sure?Look at the Mcnair muskie caught on the St.Lawrance this past Nov.This coming season that stretch of water will bring out a ton more boats im sure.Especially from the U.S side, that fish was big time news all over the world! You can fish all you want there but it doesnt mean youre not gonna get skunked if you dont know what your doing.
Dirty....mean....mighty unclean.
