Hey Steve not a problem when Quinte is where you live its not a big deal to take a weekend off and let all you out of towners have at it. Plans have changed here as well now I'm packing the boat and meeting the gang in Gananoque and going to hit the St Lawrence for hopefully some musky.

we are going to try jigging for musky.... if that makes any sense to you.
Caught a mid-40" musky violently vertically jigging a mag Bulldawg walleye glitter in 25 feet of water while surrounded by a flottilla of walleye boats this weekend. We only did this for 1/2 hour since we had to head back, could be something worth considering.............

Normally, when you go fishing for bass or pike or walleye, you expect to get into some action. Not many walleye anglers would come home skunked and consider it a successful day. But muskie anglers are a patient and fanatical bunch. They don’t talk about catching muskies. They talk about looking for muskies, hunting them. And when a muskie hunter comes home from a long day on the water, you don’t ask him if he’s caught anything. You ask, “Did you see anything?”
