BA can walk way down to the other end of that Lake (hopefully he can make it without getting a heartattack)....you and I will fish the same area as last winter across the lake, but this time we'll be using GULP minnows Kev.. 8) .......and I'll bring the ATV and Frabil hut for me and you 8)

Better still....let's wait for a weekend that BA plans to go and take pictures of Penguins and whatever other birds instead of fishing, and you and I will go fishing together... :D

Nice overcast day today Kev and a nice Muskie ripple on the river.....I'm heading out at 1:30 to burn some gas

All right then, back to muskies..............

Been musky fishing quite alot this season and caught a few of them, with alot of skunks. What I did learn, all of our muskies came from a spot on the spot, nothing random. No fancasting this area or troll this breakline. More like, there's the tiny rockpile and there's the musky. All of our big muskies came from a positive moon phase with the exception of one that came off a point in high winds.

Our biggest...........This was one beat-up fish that had two lampreys on her with thirteen wounds on her head and back, along with split and torn fins. She hit on a wind-blown point on our third pass. Threw everything at her and she decided to hit a Buchertail bucktail burnt as fast as I could, with the rod tip in the water to prevent the lure from breaking the surface. Speed freak this one.

Collateral damage.........
