I'm Piking In the Rain *whistling*

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I'm Piking In the Rain *whistling*

Post by Fishing 24/7 »

I said it onces... and here i go again.

Pike and rain......... They go together like oprah and a fried ham.

Still with the swim baits... They hit these things like it was candy.

i swear you NOT! :D

Image

Sly brakes the ice with this nice Gator. his first on a swimbait.

Today it seemed like every pike bay was holding a good fish. Ready to hit.

As we are drifting into the sencond bay.

Im talking about how this bay always holds a good fish. and im explaining to sly how Northern pike are very territorial.

Any second one is going to hit.

he gives me the old. WHATEVER ..... he wasnt paying attention to his lure.

RIGHT at the boat. SPLASH!!!!!

SA MORT TU ?!

Image

His Best pike ever hits the Storm lure perch patern! :D

Image

The Snakes were hitting left and right. ALL in the 5-6 lbs range.

some 8-9 lbs gators were also pulled out of the water.

Some Long and skiny.

Image

Image

Others short a BULKY.

the real TANKS i call them.

When this hit and they come close to the boat all you see is the thickness of the fish. 8)

At one point sly hits a weed bed.

thinking that he has weeds on the lure he start to reel in the bait as fast as he can to remove the dirty lure and recast.

well. this triggered a TANK the biggest pike iv seen .... to fallow Then hit the lure.

It was something out of a movie.

sadly the pike didnt get hooked.

but he stood there and it was a realy nice show. must have been someting like a 15 lbs pike or something.

we finished the day after we were soaked to the

one last bay. and SEE YA NEXT TIME!
